China's High-Speed Train is Already Setting World Records
China is pushing the boundaries of speed and technology in railway transportation, setting world records with the latest member of the 'Fuxing' (Rejuvenation) series, the CR450 model. This high-speed train, a source of pride in domestic production, illuminates the journey of the future by reaching speeds of 453 kilometers per hour in test drives.

During the trials on the Shanghai-Chengdu line, it was noteworthy that the train was able to accelerate from zero to 350 kilometers per hour in just 4 minutes and 40 seconds.

The CR450, which is projected to have a maximum speed of 450 kilometers and a commercial cruise speed of 400 kilometers, is expected to enter service in 2026. Before its commercial use, the train is planned to undergo 600,000 kilometers of test drives on actual routes. The most significant impact of the CR450 will be the reduction of the current Beijing-Shanghai high-speed train journey, which currently takes more than 4 hours, to as little as 2.5 hours. This revolutionary decrease will fundamentally transform intercity transportation in China.
With its approximately 50,000 kilometers of high-speed rail network, which accounts for about 70% of all high-speed rail networks in the world, China once again showcases its global leadership in this field.

The country is determined to maintain its leadership in high-speed railway technology by aiming to expand its fast train network to 60,000 kilometers by 2030. The CR450 is a tangible indicator of China's technological prowess that adapts to the new era and sets an example for the world.
