Ceren Karakoç Shares Emotional Message As Nursema's Return To Kızılcık Şerbeti Is Delayed
Fans of the Turkish drama Kızılcık Şerbeti have been waiting for weeks to see Nursema come back. That reunion will now have to wait one more week. Just hours before the news of the delay, actress Ceren Karakoç had posted a heartfelt note to viewers, and its closing line, 'Now it's in your hands,' took on a whole new meaning once the episode was pulled.
Ceren Karakoç thanked her audience hours before her planned return in episode 145.
On Friday, October 30, Ceren Karakoç shared an Instagram story addressed to viewers of Kızılcık Şerbeti.
'I want to thank everyone who has never left me alone on this journey and who has always made me feel their love and support. I did my best, now it's in your hands,' Ceren Karakoç wrote, ahead of the episode that was set to bring Nursema back.
Shortly after her post, it was announced that episode 145 would not air that week.
The show's production company, Gold Film, said in an official statement that the new episode would not be broadcast because of the October 29 Republic Day holiday week in Turkey.
The episode Ceren Karakoç had announced for 8 p.m. that evening was therefore pushed back by a week, just hours before it was due on screen.
Nursema now returns on Friday, November 6
Ceren Karakoç played Nursema for four seasons, starting with the very first episode in 2022. She left the series at the start of season 5, when Nursema was believed to have died in an accident. According to the actress, she was told by phone that she had been written out while on holiday, after already agreeing to the new season.
After the show's writing team changed, it was announced that Nursema would return. In the trailer for episode 145, Nursema appears in front of Asil at a cemetery.
