Call of Duty: Warzone is coming to mobile. According to a blog post on the official Call of Duty website, the highly anticipated game is expected to launch a mobile debut. The post included that the game is planned to interest gamers for “many years to come” which automatically includes continuous updates, just like the console and PC version of the games.

Currently, Call of Duty: Mobile is made by Chinese developer TiMi Studio Group, a subsidiary of Tencent and the same studio behind Pokemon Unite. The game has been one of the biggest mobile games in the world ever since, and with the upcoming release, it was sure to make a big impact on the community. This is compared to the Call of Duty: Warzone which is a free-to-play battle royale experience available to download on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.

According to Activision, there are no official dates yet but this large-scale action of Call of Duty: Warzone will bring a new thrilling experience. The game was said to be still in early development and the blog post included some job opening that excludes screenshots, videos, or an estimated timeline of release.

It was also unclear whether the game would be similar to Apex Legends Mobile whereas the players are only matches against other mobile players, or it would be like Fortnite, that can do cross-platform plays. Activision steered clear of other comments.

However, some game journalists, including Tom Henderson recently tweeted that the game was set to be released this year according to the PlaytestCloud database.
