Apple Music Introduces Immersive Spatial Audio For Mercedes-Benz Cars

Apple and Mercedes have just announced that Apple Music is now rolling out the premium immersive Spatial Audio for Mercedes-Benz cars, and it's really damn expensive!

For those of you that are unaware, Spatial Audio is a special kind of audio format developed by Apple to produce an immersive and enticing surround-sound effect. The sound system costs around $4,550, which is pretty damn expensive. Spatial Audio functions through Apple Music, and it is Dolby Atmos-supported. The sound system also works with movie soundtracks, music tracks, and even film scores.

Apple Music, paired with Spatial Audio, is seamlessly integrated through the MBUX infotainment system in Mercedes-Maybach vehicle models such as the EQS and EQS SUV, as well as the EQE and S-Class, providing Mercedes owners with a completely immersive and unparalleled sound system. Spatial Audio delivers an out-of-this-world music experience!

Apple has announced this awesome feature just last year, along with support for lossless streaming. This is also the first time that Apple Music's spatial audio feature has been integrated to vehicle audio systems. All Apple Music users have free access to both spatial audio and lossless streaming.
