Akın Akınözü Debuts Dramatic New Look for His Upcoming TV Series
Not only in Turkey, but also in many countries around the world, Akın Akınözü has amassed a large fan base through his role as Miran Aslanbey in the TV series Hercai. He continues to advance his career with ambitious projects. Most recently, he appeared in the series Veliaht, and now, he is gearing up to stand before the camera for the eagerly anticipated historical production of ATV, Love and Throne. Akınözü, who will portray Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad, has undergone a radical image change in preparation for his role, from his hair to his beard.
Akın Akınözü, who is considered among the most successful actors produced by Turkish television in recent years, made his real breakthrough with the character of Miran Aslanbey in the series 'Hercai', as recognized by a wide audience.
Akınözü embarked on his acting career with productions such as 'Magnificent Century: Kösem', 'Friends Are Good', 'Lion Family', and 'Payitaht Abdulhamid'. Produced by Bozdağ Film and focusing on the life of one of the most powerful rulers of the Anatolian Seljuk State, I. Alaeddin Keykubad, Akınözü has undergone a radical transformation for his leading role in this historical production.
It was learned that Akın Akınözü initially grew his hair out in preparation for the historical character, and in areas where this was not sufficient, he enhanced his appearance with special hair extensions. This resulted in a longer and more voluminous hairstyle, fitting for the rulers of that era.
Not stopping there, the actor also grew his beard to reflect the stern and charismatic posture of his character. The first photos shared on social media with his new look quickly became a hot topic, with many users unable to hide their surprise at the actor's transformation.
