YouTuber Ruhi Cenet Reveals Chilling Details of Fatal Virus Outbreak During Ocean
Ruhi Çenet, renowned globally for his large-scale videos and documentaries, had announced last month that he would embark on an ocean voyage to Tristan da Cunha, the most remote point on earth. The famous YouTuber, who had to cut his journey short, shared the unfortunate incidents he experienced.
The renowned YouTuber had made an announcement about a video he was set to film on April 4th.
Ruhi Çenet had announced his impending long journey with a post saying, 'I'm off to film a documentary at the most inaccessible point on Earth, and my ship voyage will last 28 days. Can you guess where?'
Çenet narrated his deadly journey in a short video with these words;
I disembarked from the ship on the 24th day. However, this ship, named Hondius, continued its journey towards its final destination for another 11 days. Just one day after I left, the wife of a man who had died also passed away, and with the death of a third person, it was revealed that the cause was Hantavirus, an untreatable disease transmitted by rodents. It was later understood that the first passenger who died had actually lost his life due to this virus. Now, the ship's only doctor is fighting for his life. The ship was supposed to end its voyage on the 36th day, but Cape Verde, the final destination, is refusing to accept the ship due to the virus. Consequently, all passengers have now unfortunately entered an indefinite quarantine period. To those who have been concerned and asking about me, thank you. I had a narrow escape, but my thoughts are still with those on board. I have had the necessary blood tests done. Moreover, we reached Tristan da Cunha, the most remote point in the world, which was the reason for our journey, and we shot our documentary. I wish the ship management had taken the possibility of a contagious disease seriously from the first death. From that moment on, quarantine should have been applied to people who could carry the virus. However, everyone continued to mingle. Meals were shared, and group activities were carried out. Furthermore, a blood test should have been required before passengers were allowed to board the ship from day one. I am closely monitoring the current situation of the ship. I will be sharing anything that could be of help.
