For the first time, Burç Kümbetlioğlu has responded to allegations that he left the cast due to a dispute with Ozan Akbaba, who plays Cihan in the series.

The departure of Burç Kümbetlioğlu, who frequently faced backlash from the audience for his character Boran's interference between the characters Cihan and Alya in 'Distant City', made headlines. Rumors circulated on social media that the real reason for Kümbetlioğlu's exit was a dispute with Ozan Akbaba. In response to these allegations, Burç Kümbetlioğlu spoke to the cameras of 'Gazete Magazine' and refuted the claims stating, 'We have no issues whatsoever. Ozan is a very humble and helpful person. He is a good actor and it was a pleasure working with him. He is both a gentleman and a disciplined individual.'
