'Taşacak Bu Deniz' Rival Series Finds New Female Lead After Sudden Cast Exit
The new Black Sea series to be broadcasted on NOW TV had narrowly averted a crisis even before it began. In 'Sevdam Karadeniz', which will be the second series to stir up the Black Sea winds, the agreed leading actors, Emre Bey and Aslıhan Malbora, had withdrawn from the series just days before shooting. The search for new leads had begun in the series, and Erdem Adilce, who was initially agreed upon for a supporting role, had become the male lead. Following the record-breaking success of "This Sea Will Overflow", NOW TV had rolled up its sleeves for a new series set in the Black Sea region.
Despite the initial excitement it generated, the upcoming Trabzon-based drama, 'Sevdam Karadeniz', set to follow in the footsteps of 'Taşacak Bu Deniz', quickly descended into a crisis. The leading actors, Aslıhan Malbora and Emre Bey, abruptly withdrew from the series.
It was recently announced that Erdem Adilce has been cast as the new male lead in the beloved series, Sevdam Karadeniz.
The leading lady for the anticipated series, 'Sevdam Karadeniz,' has finally been revealed. In the series, where Erdem Adilce will portray the character Kuzey Alazlı, Zeyşan Yeniceli has been cast as Damlasu İkizoğlu. The production, in which producer Banu Akdeniz has decided to give young actors a chance, will narrate the love stories of the Alazlı and Yeniceli families, passed down through generations.
Questions such as 'Who is Damlasu İkizoğlu, the actress bringing Zeyşan Yeniceli to life, and in which series has she acted?' have piqued curiosity. Born in 1998, the beautiful actress graduated from Marmara University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Cinema and Television. She then completed her acting training in front of the camera and basic acting at the Mujdat Gezen Art Center, as well as acting workshops at BiTiyatro Atelier and Cihangir Atelier Stage. She has appeared in productions such as 'Kardeşlerim,' 'Baba,' 'Zembilli,' and 'Babil.'
