South Korean Job Candidate Forced to Insult Kim Jong Un During Bizarre Interview Process
A US-based information technology company has announced that it will be hiring its employees through online interviews. Among the applicants was a prospective employee from Korea. However, the request made by the human resources department left the Korean candidate taken aback. They asked the candidate to insult Kim JongUn, the leader of North Korea.
The hiring individual informed the prospective employee that they would be conducting a test.
'We often encounter 'fraudulent' applicants, particularly North Koreans who present themselves as someone else. Hence, one of our tests involves getting them to say something like 'Kim Jongun is a fat, ugly pig.' Could you repeat that for me?' he reiterated his request.
The company predicated its policies on the fact that there were too many Northerners acting too much like Southerners.

It has been alleged that some North Korean employees infiltrated US companies, pilfering data or creating security vulnerabilities. However, the candidate, expressing gratitude, departed from the meeting.
