The sight left the head of the law enforcement team in shock, who stated, 'I feel nauseous.'

An inspection was carried out at a bakery operating in the Yeşil neighborhood of Dörtyol district in Hatay. During the inspection, it was observed that there were ant and rat nests under the pallets in the premises. It was discovered that the sacks of flour had been torn apart by rats and that there were rat droppings. The municipal police teams sealed off the business, halting operations at the bakery. The response of a worker, stating that the rusty cleaver found in the deep freezer was used to break ice and had been in contact with food, drew criticism after it was questioned by the municipal police chief, Ali Avan.
Even the Head of Municipal Police was disgusted by what he saw, stating, "This could kill people."
Ali Avan, the Chief of Municipal Police, warned that the use of expired sourdough could potentially lead to fatal consequences. He expressed his disgust at the unsanitary conditions of the food production site, stating, 'There are ant and rat nests, and the bags have been torn apart by rats. You are producing food in an environment that resembles a dump. This bread ends up on our tables. I won't allow food production in such filth. There are pallets, but the bags are touching the ground. The sight of rat droppings makes me nauseous. There are expired sourdoughs, these can kill people. We are shutting this place down. There are knives in the freezer, is it appropriate for them to come into contact with food? We are closing this business, I cannot accept this rat filth.'
