Lithuania Announces 40,000 Job Openings with Salaries up to 8,000 Euros
Lithuania, a prominent player in worker recruitment in Europe, has announced its foreign labor plan for 2026. The country aims to employ 40,000 individuals annually, welcoming both skilled and unskilled workers.
While there is no quota for skilled workers, the intake of unskilled labor is capped at 40,000 individuals.
They will offer a salary in the range of 5,000 to 8,000 Euros.

Particularly in fields requiring expertise, employees will be provided with a salary range from 5,000 to 8,000 Euros per month. In high-demand professions like IT, wages will be kept at a premium level.
What are the required conditions?

For those who aspire to work in Lithuania, there are certain fundamental requirements. These include an official job offer or employment contract, a valid passport, a criminal record obtained within the last six months, educational documents such as diplomas or certificates, and valid health insurance. On the other hand, those who plan to apply for a Blue Card must have their diplomas recognized.
An attractive point for workers.

Lithuania exhibits a more flexible stance compared to other European countries when it comes to proficiency in English. The existing labor shortage, coupled with vast recruitment opportunities, renders the country more appealing for employment. Consequently, both skilled and unskilled workers will find an increase in job availability and working opportunities.
