The TV show 'Kızılcık Şerbeti,' aired on Show TV, seems to refresh its cast almost every season. The most striking departure in the series, which frequently experiences cast changes, was that of Sibel Taşçıoğlu, who played the character Pembe. There was a time when it became a hot topic that the storyline of her character was concluded without informing Taşçıoğlu. Faruk Turgut, the producer of 'Kızılcık Şerbeti,' stated that he took into account the suggestions of the scriptwriters regarding Taşçıoğlu's departure. He said, 'I don't even know what will happen five episodes later. When the scriptwriter calls one day and says, 'If we send off this character, the story gains a new momentum. So, let's send off this character and bring in another one,' I am the one who has to answer to the scriptwriter when the ratings drop.'

Faruk Turgut, addressing the common reason for actor departures in 'Kızılcık Şerbeti', stated that it's predominantly due to financial issues. He expressed his thoughts as follows:
'I am a very loyal producer. We start working with actors for reasonable fees. Then, year after year, they demand raises. At some point, they start comparing their salaries with those outside. They say, 'I'm acting here for 3 lira, while those in my position outside are earning 7 lira.' However, I'm running a business here. I have to distribute the budget I receive fairly among everyone. I am obligated to ensure the continuity of this project. When an actor says, 'I want this much,' we are forced to say 'Excuse me.' When the project is the main focus, the departure of an actor doesn't change anything.'
