The prices for the World Cup tickets have been announced.

FIFA has announced the ticket prices for the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by three countries. It was previously anticipated that the most expensive ticket for the tournament would cost $1,550.
However, with the commencement of the new ticket sales period on Wednesday, the highest ticket price set for the final match skyrocketed to a staggering $10,990.
During the 2022 World Cup held in Qatar, the most expensive ticket was approximately $1,600. Yet, with the new pricing scheme, the amount football enthusiasts will have to shell out has almost septupled.
Prices in categories are not standing still.

The surge didn't just stop at the most luxurious seats. In the latest wave of sales, the highest-tier tickets, previously priced at $8,680, edged close to the $11,000 mark, while significant adjustments were made in other categories as well: the second-tier ticket price was updated to $7,380, and the third-tier to $5,785.
FIFA pointed out that this sales phase marks a turning point. Instead of a general price range, fans will now be able to directly select and purchase specific seats in the stadium. On top of that, tickets will also be tradable in the secondary market. However, FIFA is not letting go of its grip on this market either; it announced that it will take a 15% transaction fee from both the buyer and the seller.
