After Multiple Rejections, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ Still Has No Co-Star After Six Months
The search for a co-star for Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ in the series 'Dönence' continues. It was alleged that Pınar Deniz and Burcu Biricik were approached, but the actresses reportedly turned down the project. Subsequently, the names of Beren Saat and Serenay Sarıkaya were mentioned in connection with the project, yet the uncertainty persists.
The uncertainty continues for the new series of Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, who last appeared in Organize İşler: Sazan Sarmalı.
Preparations for the series, which were initiated in the first quarter of 2026, initially led to an agreement with Hilal Saral as the director. However, a change in direction was later decided upon, and it was revealed that Şenol Sönmez would be taking the helm. With Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ selected as the male lead in the series, the search for the female lead has commenced.
It was initially rumored that discussions were held with Pınar Deniz, followed by Burcu Biricik, however, both actresses declined the project.
Due to conflicting work schedules, the duo withdrew from the project, sparking rumors of names like Beren Saat and Serenay Sarıkaya as potential replacements. The series, initially set to begin filming in March 2026, has been postponed for six months due to the inability to secure a female lead. Most recently, it has been suggested that negotiations are underway with lesser-known actresses, as a co-star for Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ has yet to be found in the past six months.
