Preparations have kicked off for the "Karakuyu" series, which was postponed last season.
OGM Pictures is revving up its preparations to bring ambitious projects to the screens in the upcoming season. One of the first projects the production company has been working on is the TV series 'Karakuyu', the broadcast date of which was postponed to the September season in the past months.
The script of the series, penned by award-winning screenwriter Deniz Akçay, is still under wraps in terms of which channel it will be aired on, while the team continues to work on location and directorial aspects. With the shooting of 'Taşacak Bu Deniz' in Trabzon and 'Uzak Şehir' in Mardin, out-of-town projects have gained more popularity. Karakuyu will also be among the series shot outside of the city on the screen. While it was previously discussed that the shootings would take place in Kayseri, Birsen Altuntaş has revealed the final location for the new series.
Following the series set in Mardin and Trabzon, a new TV show based in Sivas is on the horizon.
According to Birsen Altuntaş's report, Divriği, a district of Sivas, has recently emerged as a potential location for the series Karakuyu.
What is the plot of the series Karakuyu?
Karakuyu tells the gripping life story of Prosecutor Ferda, who was forced to flee years ago due to an honor killing. Ferda, who has three brothers, will have to return to the land where she was born and raised because of her elder brother Harun, years later.
