The seasoned screenwriter is now penning an adaptation series for Ay Production. The project is set to be a Turkish adaptation of Vis a Vis, which is hailed as one of the most internationally acclaimed productions of Spanish television following La Casa de Papel.
Sema Ergenekon is set to pen the Turkish adaptation of the popular Spanish series, Vis a Vis.
The screenwriter for the series, which has yet to confirm which channel it will be aired on, is Ergenekon, while the director being considered is Neslihan Yeşilyurt, a name that has signed off on numerous rating successes in the television world. Neslihan Yeşilyurt has previously directed long-running and much-discussed series such as Yasak Elma, Sadakatsiz, and Bahar.
The production, which is in preparation for the new season, centers on the story of Macarena Ferreiro, who is accused of embezzlement due to a trap set by the man she loves. After being sent to Cruz del Sur prison, the young woman finds herself in a completely different world ruled by ruthless rules.
