Sushi founder Simon Woodroffe has bravely come forward, revealing his own harrowing experience of sexual abuse at the hands of a headmaster during his time at the prestigious school. This bombshell revelation not only shatters the school's polished image but also raises unsettling questions about the experiences of other students, including the possibility that the Duchess of Cambridge herself may have been exposed to similar horrors.
The founder of Yo! Sushi, Simon Woodroffe, has revealed that he was sexually abused by the headmaster at Marlborough College, where Princess Kate Middleton attended boarding school.
The 73-year-old millionaire entrepreneur was educated at the school between 1959 and 1970. He stated that the abuse and bullying he experienced there caused confusion about his sexuality.
He is currently raising funds to work on new models to improve the prison system.
In an interview on Andy Coulson's Crisis, What Crisis? podcast, Woodroffe mentioned that his autobiography will be released next year, which will include the details of this abuse story.
Woodroffe explained: 'I went to boarding school when I was seven, and all sorts of things happened there. I wrote about this and it will be published in time. The headmaster was indeed doing certain things. This is now called 'abuse.' These events were quite confusing for me.'
Having been incarcerated during his youth, Woodroffe founded Yo! Sushi in 1997 and sold the company for 10 million pounds in 2003.
He later established the Yotel hotel chain and appeared as an investor on the TV program Dragon’s Denin 2005.
Kate Middleton also attended Marlborough College between 1996 and 2000.
Last year, she and her husband, Prince William, visited the school to take their eldest son, Prince George, there.
