Municipal Workers Found 10 Gold Bars
Municipal workers in the town of Bannewitz, near Dresden in Germany, stumbled upon ten small gold bars while mowing the grass. The gold, worth a total of 30,000 Euros (approximately 1.5 million TL), was handed over to the police. Authorities are now on the hunt for the owner of the discovered gold.
The incident occurred while municipal workers were mowing the grass around a rainwater basin.

Amidst the thick foliage, they spotted objects of golden hue, still in their original packaging. The workers discovered a total of 10 small gold bars, initially finding 8 and subsequently unearthing 2 more.
These gold bars, valued at approximately 30,000 Euros (roughly 1.5 million Turkish Lira), were promptly handed over to the police.
The police are currently investigating whether the gold bars are connected to any criminal activity. Through the serial numbers imprinted on the bars, efforts are being made to track down the rightful owner. Police officials have stated that the situation is still unclear and decisions regarding the course of action will be made in due course.
If the gold bars are found to have no criminal ties and the legal owner cannot be located, this substantial sum will be retained by the municipality. The Mayor, Heiko Wersig, has already expressed his intent to use the proceeds from the sale of the gold to support local associations and clubs within the town, should this be the case.
