Man Reunites With Hundreds Of Children He Saved During The Holocaust After Years!

-

Nicholas Winton was crying because of an unexpected surprise. Nicholas was actually a real-life superhero. Would you like to find out more about his story?

When Nicholas Winton heard about the Holocaust in Europe in 1939, he left everything behind to save people over there.

Nicholas Winton was working as a stock market broker at that time. After his decision to travel to Nazi Europe, he saved over 600 children's lives by making sure that they could pass through the British border. Nicholas made sure that these children would have a place to stay and made arrangements with British resident families in England.

In total, the number of the children who escaped from the Holocaust reached up to 8 full train passengers. This way, these children were saved from death camps, diseases, and hunger at the same time.

Nicholas was really successful at keeping these operations secret. Even his wife Greta Winton, only found about this after 50 years. Greta found some notebooks in their attic that revealed her husband's secret. Greta was shocked about this and immediately told the story to Holocaust historian Elisabeth Maxwell. Greta wrote a letter to all of those children who were saved by Nicholas Winton himself. It was the year 1988 and over 200 of these children replied to that letter.

Here's that notebook where Nicholas kept his records...

Feel free the watch the video below to see what happened next. Sir Nicholas Winton attended the BBC show That’s Life as a guest. His notebook was shown to the audience with the explanation of the humanitarian acts of Winton. The host of the show then asked the audience whether they owe anything to Nicholas Winton...

When Nicholas saw all of the audience standing up for him, he couldn't hold back his tears...

This 1988 dated video is the living proof of how big of a hero that Nicholas Winton is...

Nicholas saved the lives of hundreds! He is a real hero!
